00:00Noni! Noni!
00:01Vous devez voir ça!
00:02Hum?
00:06C'mon, turn that off, go get your shoes.
00:07C'est un super power!
00:12Whether c'est traditionnel Hawaiian music,
00:14or all that's present,
00:15music is part of the DNA of Lilo & Stitch.
00:20I am Mark Elie Homalo,
00:21and I got involved with Lilo & Stitch
00:23about 22 years ago.
00:27Mark is pretty legendary in Hawaii
00:29and did all of the singing
00:30and some of the composing in the original.
00:34Also, I was particularly stoked
00:35that we got the Kamehameha School Children's Choir back.
00:38The first time we did it,
00:40it's almost like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
00:42Now we get to be a part of it again.
00:44It's a really full circle moment for us.
00:47She even has a family connection in this movie.
00:50This is my son, Christopher Bright,
00:52and he's also the screenwriter for Lilo & Stitch.
00:55Getting to write on it made it incredibly special.
00:57In a way, I've never really said this to you,
00:59but it's kind of like my love letter to my mom,
01:01just for everything that she's done for me.
01:04Stop it!
01:07Dan Roemer made a really beautiful score.
01:10Tahitian drumming was one of the things
01:11that I was most excited to do.
01:13I just think the rhythms are so fascinating.
01:16Especially when you're telling a story about Hawaii
01:18with this rich cultural history.
01:20It was really important to all of us
01:21that we had voices with a close connection to the culture.
01:24Aloha, Aloha.
01:26Aloha, I'm Imtongi.
01:27And I'm humbled and honored to perform
01:29Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride.
01:30There's no place I'd rather be.
01:33Lilo & Stitch is such a huge part of any kid's life.
01:36We grew up in the Pacific Islands.
01:37It's crazy how many times I'll watch it
01:39with all my cousins and all my friends.
01:40Flying by on the Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride.
01:45It has such a strong message about Ohana, family.
01:48It was honestly a dream come true.
01:49I can only hope my version of Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride
01:51will live all in the hearts of a new generation of kids.
01:58And you can't make a live action Lilo & Stitch
02:01without Elvis Presley.
02:03We're so excited to be in this.
02:28My favorite part of it is that we got to do it together with my brother.
02:32You know your kisses in the fire.
02:34Ohana means family.
02:35And our family actually got together to make this song.
02:37I'm just a hunko, hunko, burnin' love.
02:40Everybody's family is involved in this.
02:42And I think that's really beautiful.
02:43Mahalo to Disney and Lilo & Stitch.
02:46And the Ohana of Hawaii.
02:47We're all getting caught up in this rock and roll.
02:53You gotta burn it up, baby!
02:55Woohoo!
